    Great show!

I felt like I was listening to the BBC or NPR. I Grew up in Hurricane Alley in the panhandle of Florida and have suffered through many hurricanes from 1961-1980 as a child, My dad was in the Air force and a navigator in WWII B17’s. Our hose was built in front of a swamp that was drained by dredging a canal that fed into a lake that spilled into Choctawhatchee Bay so we were waterfront we were protected from wind and waves of beach front property. We never evacuated in all that time. The only tine we had a knock at the door to evacuate was when Camille was hovering 200 k south of us for a week. We stayed put ’cause a front just dipped down and shielded us the storm would go either east or west…it went west and took out Bloxi Miss total devastation.

Loved your show and thanks for using “angry bob” in the podcast!

[...] Episode -3 is about the Galveston Flood of 1900, and about how the city got its present seawall, but got it a bit late, after 6 to 8 thousand people died in the 1900 hurricane. [...]

Wonderful, dramatic storytelling, and good production values, too. The last person I heard speak on thought leadership was disappointingly dull and self-promotional, and this show is neither.

    Keep up the good work,
    Sallie

Kobayashi-san: You’re welcome. Thanks for making such interesting, unique music.

Christopher: I really appreciate your kind words about the quality of the podcast. I’ll probably be using other tunes of yours later on.

Sallie: Your words are high praise indeed, coming as they do from a top-shelf podcasting guru. I’m a fan of your appearances on FIR–are your going to step in for Shel this next couple of weeks?
